Darkness„Tell me a story of darkness," the sun asked the moon, but the moon just smiled and shook his head.

„There is no real darkness," the moon replied. „It's really just the absence of light."

~o~ Red Hair, Blue Eyes ~o~

I started this around lunch time and never really stopped painting until ten minutes ago. Damn you addictive tablet!
This is nobody in particular, just from the top of my head, but I did try to make it look more realistic than my usual stuff. It's also my first non-fantasy digital painting I think. I looked at a gazillion different photos to get all the shadows right, but some are still a tad off. I also changed her eye color at least ten times until I felt blue was the right choice. Would brown or green have been better?

Done with PS CS2 and Aiptek 12000u.

I think this is stunning. I am currently writing a book and would like to use this picture for my front cover of my book. I can understand if you would not be happy with that, but as I do not yet understand the laws of copyright, thought I would start by asking.
